* G$ S1 L9 W1 v7 D% k•        Work closely with executives and management teams to assist providing guidance, champion projects and organizational development to foster and maintain a positive and productive work environment.$ m0 c) y/ h( |4 g2 p
Provide support to the manager on the delivery of full spectrum of HR duties including, but are not limited to the following areas:
) h: D3 l4 q8 q: ~( o•        Performance management – Provide guidance and advice to line managers in performance management and taking disciplinary actions9 s: X8 b4 ]) Z0 ^2 b6 o6 u
•        Maintain Policy Compliance – Assist the manager in ensuring relevant HR-related documentation are handled in compliant with the statutory legal and company requirements; provide advice and assistance to managers on the interpretation and administration of HR-related policies and programs& `  |  o( |5 M  @+ a
•         Health & safety and disability management – Support WSIB Claims Management process, ensure incidents &/or accidents are handled timely to mitigate risk of penalty, partner closely with stores and the external Claim Consultant on the claim’s status.# m7 [# F$ {' ]' {" O' K8 [1 d% Z+ ~
•        Staff communications – Arrange, organize, and conduct independently staff forums on a regular basis to listen to their concerns, work with other departments to provide solutions and feedbacks
# f' j5 _% b- n3 H0 N! F8 D- b•        Compensation & benefits – Contribute ideas to, support and execute initiates related to payroll, group insurance and benefits plans launch by Head Office on a timely manner

•        Other HR project– Lead, participate and contribute to HR projects as assigned1 V- T5 _5 d. g5 L

& J" o! Z% t% |/ ^' d9 S3 qKnowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements
9 i, U* g' e+ M- {6 j( R  @• Possess at least 1 to 3 years of progressive HR generalist experience., r7 s+ V, f/ T1 v% U
• Possess familiarity with applicable labour legislation, health & safety legislation, human rights and worker's compensation policies and vast experience in handling employee/labour relations/ l' a; e* v" C8 A
• Business minded with good financial acumen & sound project management skills
7 p+ j1 f7 g2 B$ n! A. A7 D• Previous experience in a fast-paced business environment, preferably in the retail industry or supermarket chain store operations
* ?% Y) }: Q9 v& L& w" S4 i. K• Excellent interpersonal, and management skills and high professional standards for customer service and work quality7 ?4 I; b; n& X- _* i5 L
• Able to handle confidential information professionally and in an ethical manner) Q0 B8 a% _( B: E. H0 \- C
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
8 d# N, Q+ u$ Q/ \7 {• Strong writing, verbal, and presentation skills; must be fluent in English and is able to understand, speak read, and type Chinese (Cantonese &/or Mandarin).
