Some friends and family have gotten the full impact of it in the last

I stopped at Office Depot today and bought a CanoScan LiDE 90
! A0 P6 p( _! ?. T! j1 ]scanner.  For months now I\'ve been wanting a simple scanner for my
slides and photos. Every other place I went to, like Wal*Mart and
, a  h. t- k; x$ u1 q+ U, E4 fTarget, only sold the printer/copier/fax/scanner units.  I already own
all of that except for the scanner and wasn\'t about to spend hundreds
of dollars for more than I need.

This scanner costing under $80 does a great job on my photos, even the
5 z& e, y; K+ ~: b( ~8 U. ]6 cones of me as a baby.  My slides of astronomical art by Morris Scott
, {* u6 J) G7 |' U5 Q' U* s) wDollens come out okay even after collecting dust for decades.  I
should be kept busy for days scanning all the photos I\'ve saved over
/ Y  f: }* |& _' O  }the years in an old suitcase.  Now if I could only figure out who all
those people in really old photos are!
