Job Position: Warehouse Forklift Operator/Order PickerNeeded ASAP!!!

Start Date: Oct 29th, 2013

Location: Etobicoke(Steels & Hwy 427)

Wage: $13.5/hr

Job Description

Summary:  Position isresponsible to assemble orders for shipment to the stores; assist other staff;

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Order Picker activities: 95 percent of time

·
Operatesorder picker and forklift in and around warehouse

·
. M: P5 N5 z9 L' @# jPullsproduct from the warehouse for shipment to the stores

·
Climbson racking system (approximately 15’ above ground)to reach product

·
/ s- ~! S5 g, z0 {' q2 @Wrapsorder on pallet for shipment

·
: b% N, x( W8 d! cLoadsand unloads shipments, pallets, etc.

·
Placeshipments on racking systems

Other activities: 5 percent of time

·
3 v% f3 x( E! {" t* YCleaningup debris on warehouse floor

·
) t+ t  F/ n9 T) q( y# Q) FLiftsloose or stray products

Requirements

PhysicalRequirements:

Pushand pulling pallets and lifting products is required approximately 55% duringthe shift

Bendingis required less than or up to 15% of the shift to reach product or debris

Physicalstrength to handle up to 25-pound object, frequently. Some items weighing up to50 lbs to be handled occasionally

Normaldexterity of hands and fingers with average repetition
