8 U j9 s7 n8 q: n' O9 M& X4 k( xIn preparation for Citizenship and Immigration Canadas new Off-Campus Work Permit Program (OCWP), SDCs International Student Services will be presenting OCWP Information Sessions for Westerns international students and interested members of the Western community. (NOTE: As of June 1, 2006, international students at Western will be able to request Verification Forms - details will be released very soon).' c4 E* e- s: Y. ]5 B. {5 F

) H/ N! r Y* n) o7 Z The OCWP Information Session will: & c8 H/ H; q! |8 J3 z5 F
· Provide details on the OCWP Program
+ j) L2 D5 t3 X6 C$ j· Explain the application process (including obtaining Verification Forms)
) i) B9 y, U9 S) S· Assist students with questions they may have about the OCWP Program / }# w8 w) A0 g# A7 E
It is strongly recommended that international students interested in applying for an Off-Campus Work Permit attend one of these information sessions.

2 a' W, O1 S6 K- f9 L& x" ?, ~All sessions will be held on the 3rd floor in the University Community Centre in the USC Council Chambers (Room 315).

$ g. ^9 H/ Y4 D* Y C0 F1 ZAdditionally, SDCs International Student Services will be providing guidance and advice on the completion of the Off-Campus Work Permit application form, or regarding the Off-Campus Work Permit (OCWP) program, during OCWP Drop-in Hours (no appointment needed).6 m9 @0 f! ( h3 ?4 n' Z' GO.C.W.P. Drop-in Hours will take place in Room 270, on the 2nd floor of the UCC at the following times:
