$ S0 ~: J% R) P•        Work closely with executives and management teams to assist providing guidance, champion projects and organizational development to foster and maintain a positive and productive work environment.% E: R. r$ P( Q* y* t. |
Provide support to the manager on the delivery of full spectrum of HR duties including, but are not limited to the following areas:
, W0 e+ W/ _, H# m7 X) k•        Performance management – Provide guidance and advice to line managers in performance management and taking disciplinary actions3 b- b0 G4 e$ p% d# e. ~
•        Maintain Policy Compliance – Assist the manager in ensuring relevant HR-related documentation are handled in compliant with the statutory legal and company requirements; provide advice and assistance to managers on the interpretation and administration of HR-related policies and programs( I4 g3 \' C* B  j, v
•         Health & safety and disability management – Support WSIB Claims Management process, ensure incidents &/or accidents are handled timely to mitigate risk of penalty, partner closely with stores and the external Claim Consultant on the claim’s status.
7 S) s3 ]2 W& ?$ s: g/ q•        Staff communications – Arrange, organize, and conduct independently staff forums on a regular basis to listen to their concerns, work with other departments to provide solutions and feedbacks7 G: l- U; j$ c" U1 M
•        Compensation & benefits – Contribute ideas to, support and execute initiates related to payroll, group insurance and benefits plans launch by Head Office on a timely manner% |& A/ W3 t( [* I9 ?. j( ^" Y2 s
•        Training & development – Actively involved in workshops and training to users based on their training needs5 Q- H( E- O) g# @+ d5 T
•        Other HR project– Lead, participate and contribute to HR projects as assigned* O# `" T  f( ]" X7 x$ }

9 Q* H; |* M1 ~9 u. dKnowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements
4 }, _! S  C7 r& h6 u' b• Possess at least 1 to 3 years of progressive HR generalist experience." K; ?+ {) e0 I+ }
• Possess familiarity with applicable labour legislation, health & safety legislation, human rights and worker's compensation policies and vast experience in handling employee/labour relations
) r: Z# M. ?9 `' c& D" [) _• Business minded with good financial acumen & sound project management skills, v7 N% F- Q  i  `! P8 \
• Previous experience in a fast-paced business environment, preferably in the retail industry or supermarket chain store operations
) o/ b+ r0 F# {1 J5 o+ o& a& X/ m• Excellent interpersonal, and management skills and high professional standards for customer service and work quality2 S3 n! G. N, R4 Z" G
• Able to handle confidential information professionally and in an ethical manner) w! ?7 O5 J1 a9 B) u
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
